W&M Wins at the CFA Institute Global Investment Research Challenge
On February 25th, the W & M team of Neal Chhabra, Andrew Weeks, Ashley Beuchel, Colin Burns, and Saurabh Dugar won the CFA Institute Global Investment Research Challenge state competition. Nine teams representing colleges throughout the state of Virginia competed, and five presented in the state finals: University of Virginia, University of Richmond, George Mason University, Old Dominion University, and William & Mary. Our students gave an excellent presentation and skillfully handled the questions they faced. Their first place finish qualifies them to compete in the national competition in Denver, Colorado, March 18-19.
