Why did you decide to pursue an MSBA degree?
I graduated from William & Mary in three years with an undergraduate degree in Finance. I took business analytics courses in addition to my undergraduate degree and really enjoyed my classes, so I was excited to further develop my skills in this field in the MSBA program for my final year.
What appealed to you about William & Mary's program?
What I really liked about the program is that it is able to get very deep into the technical side of analytics while also maintaining an overall business focus so that we can apply these techniques in a business setting upon graduation. I was also a member of the William & Mary baseball team.
Discuss some of the highlights you enjoyed in the program.
The team projects we completed have definitely been some of the highlights academically. Within our teams, we were able to tackle extremely difficult problems and present meaningful findings. Outside of the academics itself, the people in the program have been awesome, and I am happy to work with classmates and support staff every day.
How would you describe our program to a prospective student?
It is a great program to be a part of for two reasons. The first is that we are learning top-notch analytical techniques that employers are looking for. The second is the people that make up the program—your classmates, your professors, and the rest of the MSBA staff—are the best and are all here to make sure you succeed.
