What appealed to you about William & Mary's program?

I know someone who attended William & Mary's MSBA program, and she had a lot of positive and encouraging things to say about her time at the school. It was encouraging that she was able to land a great job with Booz Allen Hamilton within months of her enrollment. I also loved that the program was full-time. I was not interested in continuing to work while earning my master's degree. I believed this program would give me a better opportunity to make meaningful connections with my peers and, hopefully, network going forward.

Discuss some of the highlights you enjoyed in the program.

The highlights of the program have been seeing myself advance in coding, especially R, meeting the incredible group of people in the program, and getting a job at Deloitte, where I am able to use my newly learned skills.

What excites you about the field of Business Analytics?

I am most excited about getting to work with real data in the future and hopefully make a meaningful impact with my conclusions. I get to work on projects where I am able to apply the coding languages I learned in the program. My ultimate goal is to work in health analytics and help with improving the interoperability of health information.

How would you describe our program to a prospective student?

I would tell a prospective student that this program is very technical and requires a large amount of work outside of the classroom. However, if you have a passion for data and want to learn something new, this is the place for you. I can't imagine a better community of people or a better support system. I truly believe Business Analytics is the future and that you cannot go wrong with this degree.
