Residential MSBA Tuition, Scholarships, & Financial Aid

William & Mary provides our students with exceptional academic programs, comparatively low tuition and fees, and a compelling return on investment.

Tuition

Students are encouraged to assess the amount of financial resources they will need during their studies and plan accordingly. Please see William & Mary's Financial Aid office's estimate for total annual costs to assist you in planning your attendance in our program. Exact costs will vary based on your status and course of study. If you are currently serving as active duty military or think that you might qualify for in-state residency, please visit the William & Mary Domicile site to determine if you are eligible for Virginia residency for in-state residency for tuition purposes.

Scholarships and Financial Aid

  • Merit Scholarship

All admitted students are automatically considered for Merit Scholarships. They are highly competitive and based on an applicant's academic and personal achievements, not financial need. Awards for merit-based scholarships are determined by the MSBA Admissions Committee based on the information made available by an applicant in their application and during the interview process.

  • Graduate Assistantship (GA)

Entering students are eligible to apply for a graduate assistantship. Graduate Assistantships (GAs) offer students an excellent opportunity to work with faculty and staff at the Raymond A. Mason School of Business. GAs are awarded full or half assistantships and are expected to work ten or five hours a week, respectively. Students are paid hourly.

Alumni Referral Program

With over 90,000 living alumni across the globe, William & Mary's alumni network continues to be on of its largest resources. William & Mary's Raymond A. Mason School of Business wants to put that resource to work to help continue to recruit top applicants to the Master of Science in Business Analytics (MSBA) program.

To participate in this new program, William & Mary alumni can refer an interested student to the MSBA program by completing the online form. Students who are referred and apply will receive a $5,000 Alumni Referral Scholarship upon acceptance. To be eligible for the scholarship award, the Alumni Office must receive the alumni referral before the student submits an application.

The Details:

  • Students who are referred and apply will receive a $5,000 Alumni Referral Scholarship upon acceptance.
  • Participating alumni can refer up to three students per academic year (spring and fall).
  • Accepted students can only receive one scholarship per year, regardless of the number of referrals they receive.
  • A student cannot receive a referral by a close family member (parent, grandparent, or sibling) or a faculty member who teaches in the William & Mary MSBA program.
  • To be eligible for the scholarship award, the Alumni Office must receive the alumni referral before the student submits an application.
  • The Office of Admissions will keep referrals on file only for the academic term to which the student applies.
