Business Analytics Concentration

Part-Time MBA Program Concentration:
Business Analytics

Part-Time BA students are required to take 16.5 hours of electives.  Students electing this concentration must complete the following electives:

  • BUAD 6591: Predictive Analytics (3 credits)
  • BUAD 6711: Advanced Modeling Techniques (3 credits)*
  • BUAD 6271: Database Management (3 credits)
  • BUAD 6723: Analytics Communication & Visualization (3 credits)*
  • Prerequisites are required for these courses.  In order to take Advanced Modeling Techniques, you must have already taken BUAD 5713: Modeling & Simulation.  In order to take BUAD 6723: Analytics Communication & Visualization, you must have already taken BUAD 6591: Predictive Analytics, BUAD 6711: Advanced Modeling Techniques, and BUAD 6271: Database Management.

Students are required to submit their Concentration Declaration Form during their final semester completing the Foundation Core (the first 6 courses) in the Part-Time MBA Program. Concentration declarations may be made after the deadline, but you should consult the Program Team prior to declaring.

Students may not take electives (except international trips) until they have completed the first 6 core courses.

This concentration will be reflected on your transcript.
