Mark Shenkman

Mark Shenkman is the President, Chief Investment Officer, Senior Portfolio Manager, and Director at Shenkman Capital Management, Inc. Mr. Shenkman founded the firm in 1985. Prior to this, he was the President and Chief Investing Officer at First Investors Asset Management from 1983 to 1985. Mr. Shenkman was also the Founder and Co-Head of High Yield at Lehman Brothers Kuhn Loeb from 1979 to 1983 and a Security Analyst and Portfolio Manager at Fidelity Management & Research from 1973 to 1979. Mr. Shenkman has co-authored and edited High Yield Bonds: Market Structure, Portfolio Management, and Credit Risk Modeling, McGraw Hill in 1999. He holds an M.B.A. from George Washington University and a B.A. from the University of Connecticut.
