K. Dane Brooksher '61
Former Chairman & Chief Executive Officer of Butler Manufacturing and ProLogis Foundation and Board Member for Pactiv Corporation
K. Dane Brooksher is Chairman and Chief Executive Officer of ProLogis Trust, a leading global provider of distribution services and facilities. Before joining ProLogis in 1993, Mr. Brooksher was with KPMG Peat Marwick for over 32 years, serving in many capacities, including Midwest area Managing Partner and Chicago office Managing Partner just before joining ProLogis. He was a member of the firm's Board of Directors, Management Committee, and was the International Development Partner responsible for Belgium, The Netherlands, and Netherlands Antilles. Mr. Brooksher earned his BA from William & Mary, where he is a Director and past Chairman of the Board of Sponsors. He is also Trustee Emeritus and past Treasurer of the William & Mary Endowment Association, a member of the President's Council and recipient of the 1991 Alumni Medallion. Mr. Brooksher is currently a Board Member of Butler Manufacturing, Vizional Technologies, Inc., and Northwestern Kellogg School. His prior board memberships include the Lyric Opera of Chicago, the Chicago Symphony Orchestra, Northwestern Memorial Corporation, Midwest Chairman of the US Olympic Committee, and a member of the National Finance Committee.
