Bruce has built his career through a broad range of experiences and positions in global, performance-driven organizations. He has worked with several well-known CEOs and CFOs who rely on his insights, communication skills, and ability to deliver. He has been successful in leading both growth and turnaround businesses. Bruce has a proven track record of achieving excellent results, developing people, and generating revenue, earnings, and enterprise value growth.
He is a creative strategist with a deep knowledge of industries, markets, finance, and operations. Possessing a dynamic leadership style, he is equally at home running a business, teaching, mentoring, and consulting. His presentations consistently garner high ratings from a wide range of audiences. He has particular expertise in making the complex simple when communicating with boards, business leaders, employees, and investors.
Bruce received his BA from the University of Virginia and his MBA from the Raymond A. Mason School of Business at William & Mary. He joined Allied Chemical (which became AlliedSignal and is now Honeywell) in their Management Training program. He held progressively more responsible positions in sales and marketing, corporate and business unit finance, and general management. He went on to American Standard (now Ingersoll Rand) as Corporate VP - Strategy and Investor Relations.
Following the successful break-up of American Standard into three stand-alone companies, he was appointed to the Strategy and IR position at Ingersoll Rand. After "graduating" from Ingersoll, he has continued to build his reputation as a partner in a private equity group, advising a broad range of public and private firms. He has served as a board member and co-chair for several start-ups and non-profit organizations. He currently serves as Strategic Advisor for Blue Ridge Networks. Blue Ridge Networks is a cybersecurity pioneer providing network access and endpoint security solutions based in Northern Virginia.
He and his wife, Beth, live in Morristown, NJ and Palm Beach Gardens, FL.
