2026 Bianca Caragliano Stock Pitch Competition
The Boehly Center for Excellence in Finance proudly hosted the 10th annual Bianca Caragliano Stock Pitch Competition on March 27 and March 28, marking a milestone year for one of its most impactful and inspiring events. This year's competition brought together 20 exceptional teams from universities around the world, all united by a shared commitment to excellence, intellectual curiosity, and a passion for finance.
Throughout the weekend, students presented their investment ideas while also connecting with peers, engaging with industry professionals, and pushing themselves in a high-caliber, collaborative environment. The competition highlighted an impressive level of analytical rigor, creativity, and professionalism, reflecting the strength and promise of the next generation of finance leaders.
The weekend also served as a meaningful tribute to Bianca Caragliano's legacy. Her resilience, determination, and drive continue to shape the spirit of the event and inspire those who take part. Honoring her memory remains central to the competition. It reinforces the idea that success in finance and in life is built not only on skill, but also on perseverance and character.
A highlight of the weekend was the opportunity to hear from keynote speakers Sitara Sundar and Sonia Gardner. Their insights into the industry and reflections on their career paths left a lasting impression on both students and professionals. Their perspectives added depth to the experience and offered valuable takeaways beyond the competition itself. We also extend our thanks to Matthew Siano, Olivia Stegner, and Julia Gehrig for leading thoughtful and engaging interviews with the keynote speakers.
The competition concluded with outstanding performances from the final three teams. Ultimately, the University of Oxford earned third place with a pitch on Flywire. Auburn University and William & Mary tied for first place, with Auburn presenting on The Chemours Company and William & Mary pitching Uber.
Each team demonstrated remarkable dedication, preparation, and sportsmanship, making the judges' decisions especially difficult and underscoring the high level of talent present throughout the event.
As we reflect on this milestone year, we extend our sincere gratitude to the students, judges, and alumni who made the weekend possible. Their continued support is essential to the growth and success of this event. We would also like to express our gratitude to our corporate partners, whose contributions allow us to provide stock pitch teams with travel reimbursements, as well as hotels and meals while they are in Williamsburg.
The 10th annual Bianca Caragliano Stock Pitch Competition is both a celebration of achievement and a testament to the lasting impact of community, mentorship, and shared ambition in the field of finance.
