At the heart of the Raymond A. Mason School of Business is a deep commitment to principled leadership, strategic vision, and service—embodied by the William & Mary Business School Foundation. This dynamic body of trustees, composed of accomplished alumni and valued friends of the university, brings together expertise across governance, finance, entrepreneurship, technology, consulting, and beyond. Their collective experience offers critical insights that help shape the school’s vision and advance its mission.

More than just stewards of resources, the trustees serve as champions of the student experience and catalysts for innovation. Their leadership ensures the Mason School remains responsive to the evolving demands of the global economy, while staying rooted in the core values that define a William & Mary education. With their support, the Foundation helps cultivate an environment where students are equipped not only to succeed in business—but to lead with integrity, creativity, and purpose.

A 501(c)(3) nonprofit organization, the William & Mary Business School Foundation plays a vital role in advancing the strategic goals of the Mason School by stewarding financial resources and driving key initiatives. The guidance and generosity of its trustees continue to fuel progress across programs, centers, and student opportunities.

Effective July 1, 2025, the Mason School welcomed eight new trustees to the Business School Foundation. These distinguished individuals bring a wealth of insight and dedication to their roles. Their diverse professional backgrounds and shared commitment to excellence will help shape the school’s future as it continues to prepare the next generation of business leaders.

Etim Edim, BBA ’96, is Head of Finance for Morgan Stanley's shared services divisions and the Global Head of the Business Infrastructure Office. He is responsible for financial planning and analysis of those combined divisions’ ~$5B cost base. Previously, Etim was the Technology CFO of Morgan Stanley, led teams in investment banking finance and leveraged lending business management at Credit Suisse and Deloitte Consulting as a Senior Consultant in the technology and operations strategy group. Etim earned his MBA in finance from the University of Maryland’s Smith School of Business and his BBA from William & Mary.

Cate Faddis, BBA ’91, is a Senior Portfolio Manager with Zevin Asset Management. She has spent more than 25 years in investment management and financial services, previously, as the President and Chief Investment Officer of Grace Capital and a Managing Partner at Mason Capital Partners. A CPA and CFA, she started her career as an auditor with Deloitte, which led to her becoming an Equity Analyst at Putnam Investments. Cate received her BBA in Accounting from William & Mary and MBA from Harvard Business School. Cate was a keynote speaker for the 2024 Women’s Stock Pitch event, hosted by W&M and the Boehly Center for Excellence in Finance.

Lt Gen (Ret) Gina Grosso, MBA ’92, served as the Assistant Secretary for Human Resources and Administration/Operations, Security and Preparedness at the Department of Veteran Affairs. She served in this position from June 2021 to December 2023 and was grateful for the opportunity to take care of the Nation’s veterans. Prior to this position she was the Vice President for Air Force Programs at Golden Key Group, a woman owned small business. This was her first private sector work after serving in the Air Force for 32 years. She culminated her career as the Air Force’s Deputy Chief of Staff, Manpower, Personnel and Services, and retired at the rank of Lieutenant General. Gina received her BS from Carnegie-Mellon University in Applied Mathematics and Industrial Management and MBA from W&M. Gina has served as the USAF Chief Human Capital Officer, held the position of Chairman of the Army and Air Force Exchange Service’s Board of Directors, as well as the Chairman of the Defense Commissary Agency’s Board. She is currently working part time with CornerBrooke, LLC, a Service Disabled Veteran Owned Small business that provides Program Management, Human Capital Management, Information Technology, Professional Consulting, Leadership Development, Human Resource Operations, and Workforce Development.

Jamar Jenkins, MBA ’18, MSBA ’20, is the Chief Technology Officer at U.S. Army Materiel Command (Analysis Group). A $56 billion global enterprise where he leads digital modernization, enterprise IT strategy, and technology innovation across the Department of Defense, one of the world’s largest logistics and supply chain organizations. Previously, Jamar served as Senior Director of Sales Operations, Strategy & Planning at Sorenson Communications. Jamar also held leadership roles at Logitech, including Executive Director and Global Head of Marketing Operations, as well as Head of Strategy & Planning. He played a pivotal role in growing Logitech’s B2B P&L from $100M to $1.4B. Jamar earned his BBA in Marketing from Radford University, where he played Division I Men’s Basketball and earned both his MBA and MSBA through the Mason School of Business. Jamar continues to serve as an officer in the U.S. Army Reserve.

Michael Medline, MBA ’91, is a Canadian business leader recognized for spearheading transformational change at two of Canada’s biggest retail companies, including his current role as President and CEO of Empire Company Limited. In 2018 he was named CEO of the Year by the Globe and Mail’s Report on Business and, in recognition for his values-based leadership style, he was named Canada’s Most Admired CEO in 2020. Michael began his career practicing law, working at the Ontario Securities Commission and PepsiCo Canada before moving into strategic executive roles at Abitibi Consolidated. He then joined Canadian Tire, where he spent 16 years in a range of senior positions, including serving as President and CEO. Michael serves on the Board of Directors for The Bank of Nova Scotia, and as Chair of the Board’s Corporate Governance Committee. He also serves on the Board of Trustees for SickKids (as Chair of the Human Resources Committee), as Vice Chair of the Board of Governors for Huron University College at Western University, and the Board of Directors for The Sobey Foundation. Michael holds an MBA from William & Mary, an LL.B. from the University of Toronto, and a BA from Huron University at Western University.

Keith Tomlinson, BBA ’81, is a board member with RCS Construction, which oversees the company’s operations and strategies. Prior to retirement, Keith was the Senior Vice President of Operations at NVR, Inc., where he represented strategy and operations management throughout three regions and eleven divisions. Keith also worked as the division president for Pulte Group and President and CEO of Dominion Homes. Keith was also active for five years in the Baltimore and Washington DC chapters for the William & Mary Alumni Association. Keith holds a BBA in Accounting from W&M, where he played varsity lacrosse and was a member of Lambda Chi Alpha fraternity.

Terry Thompson, BA ’67, completed her consulting career as a principal at Hewitt (now Aon), where she specialized in compensation and benefits strategy and design and managed multi-practice client accounts. She opened Hewitt's consulting office in Washington, DC, in the early '90s. Terry is returning to the W&M Business School Foundation Board, where she previously chaired the campaign committee during the For the Bold campaign. She was a trustee and chaired the Muscarelle Museum of Art Foundation, and is an advocate for W&M women’s initiatives including Women’s Basketball. Terry holds a BA in Philosophy from William & Mary and an MA from the University of Tennessee. During her time at W&M, Terry played in women’s varsity basketball.

Josh Whipple is the Chief Financial Officer at Global Payments (NYSE:GPN), a leading global provider of software solutions and payments technology. Over the past decade, he has held a variety of senior leadership roles across the company, including responsibility for M&A, strategy, and enterprise risk management and compliance. Josh led Global Payments’ most transformational transactions - totaling more than $50 billion in transaction value - which played a pivotal role in shaping the company’s strategic direction, driving long-term growth, and securing its place in the Fortune 500. Prior to joining Global Payments, Josh worked in investment banking at Bank of America and Bear Stearns, advising management teams and boards on a wide range of M&A advisory and financing initiatives. Across his entire career, Josh has actively supported the career development of fellow William & Mary alumni and enhanced the school's stature in the financial services industry through recruitment and mentoring. He holds a BBA in Finance from William & Mary and an MSc in Finance from London Business School. While at William & Mary, he was a wide receiver for the Tribe football team.
