Raymond A. Mason School of Business Earns 2024-2025 Military Friendly® School Designation
The Raymond A. Mason School of Business has officially received gold designation status for the 2024-2025 Military Friendly® School survey period. The Military Friendly® Schools survey is the longest-standing, most inclusive review of university investments in serving military and veteran students. This honor recognizes the institutional efforts to create sustainable and meaningful education paths for the military community.
The 2024-2025 Military Friendly® School list will be published in GIJOBS Magazine® in the May and October issues. Besides gold designation, the Mason School of Business was further recognized as a Military Spouse Friendly School.
Institutions earning the Military Friendly® School designation were evaluated using public data sources and responses from a proprietary survey. More than 1,800 schools participated in the 2024-2025 survey, with 537 earning special awards for exceeding the standard.
"Receiving gold designation status in the 2024-2025 Military Friendly® School survey period is not just a recognition; it is a validation of our unwavering commitment to our military students," says Jonathan "JD" Due, executive director of the Center for Military Transition. "This honor underscores the profound impact of our collective efforts in fostering an inclusive and supportive academic environment for those who have served our nation."
The gold designation recognizes the Mason School's commitment to recruiting and retaining military students, providing academic and financial support, and helping students transition from military to civilian life with additional support from our Center for Military Transition.
