William & Mary Debuts at #19 on Poets&Quants Ranking for Best Online MBA Programs

The new Poets&Quants ranking for 2021 lists William & Mary’s Online MBA #19 among the top 47 online business programs. In an extremely tight ranking, the Raymond A. Mason School of Business is one of six previously unrated schools to appear on the list in the top 20.

“Our online MBA continues to be recognized as one of the best online programs in the nation. When designing the program, we promised to deliver the same quality education William & Mary is known for,” said Pamela Suzadail, Associate Dean and Executive Director of the Center for Online Learning. “Our inclusion as a top 20 program in Poets&Quants indicates we continue to deliver on that promise.”

The data used to determine the Poets&Quants ranking was gathered by school and alumni surveys and is based upon three core dimensions: the quality of incoming students; the MBA experience, including academic and extracurricular activities; and the career outcomes of a program’s graduates. The Mason School’s inclusion in the fourth annual survey indicates its program’s quick rise among an increasingly competitive landscape of online MBA degree offerings.

“We are delighted to be included in this year’s Poets&Quants ranking,” said Lawrence B. Pulley, Dean of the Mason School. “Five years ago, we responded to a market demand to provide a graduate business education that would complement the busy lives of working professionals. Through this strategic investment of resources, and a generous donation which established our Center for Online Learning, we will continue to serve these students by delivering quality online business programs for years to come.”

William & Mary’s Online MBA is also currently ranked by Princeton Review at #21 and U.S. News & World Report at #28.
