MBA student wins national rowing championship
William Meeker, a Raymond A. Mason School of Business MBA student from Fairfax, Virginia, won the men’s single scull (1x) at the American Collegiate Rowing Association’s (ACRA) national championship held in May. He credits his first-place time of 7:35.507 to his intensive training schedule which included biking, lifting weights, and rowing up to 90 miles each week.
Meeker plans to compete in the senior category when he returns to William & Mary in the fall, and will graduate with his MBA in the spring of 2017.
