Jewelry brand ALEX AND ANI features Mason MBA candidate
The Peace Corps and ALEX AND ANI have teamed up to launch a new jewelry collection in support of the Let Girls Learn initiative which seeks to expand educational opportunities for females around the world. The new collection will directly benefit Peace Corps volunteer projects such as the one led by Mason School of Business MBA candidate Jennifer Jiggets.
Jennifer, who will graduate from William and Mary next year, used her background in crafting to create a jewelry-making business in Lesotho, southern Africa while she worked there as a Peace Corps volunteer. The funds raised helped to purchase a water pump for the community, but her work also had a much deeper impact.
