Mason School to host screening of “Confidence Game” film
The William & Mary Business School will host a screening of the new documentary film “Confidence Game,” which examines the downfall of the investment bank known as Bear Stearns, on Wednesday, October 19 at 7:00 p.m. Filmmaker Nick Verbitsky will be on hand to join the public to watch the film. The event is free and open to the public.
Afterward, Verbitsky will join finance professor John Merrick, economics professor Till Schreiber and law professor Eric Kades for a question and answer session on the film and the impact of the final week of Bear Stearns before the financial collapse of 2008.
The screening will take place in Brinkley Commons inside of the Raymond A. Mason School of Business’ Miller Hall located at 101 Ukrop Way on the campus of William & Mary.
Doors open at 7:00 p.m. Film begins at 7:30 p.m. The screening is sponsored in part by the Raymond A. Mason School of Business, William & Mary’s Law School and Economics Department.
