Bloomberg BusinessWeek ranks The College of William & Mary Undergraduate Business Program among the Top 25
Bloomberg BusinessWeek Best Undergraduate B-Schools 2010 has ranked the Undergraduate Business Program at the Mason School of Business at the College of William & Mary among the best 25 programs in the country. Among public universities it is ranked number 8.
Teaching quality continues to be a stronghold for the program. The Mason faculty made the grade with an "A+", according to the survey which measures student satisfaction, postgraduation outcomes, and academic quality.
"The caliber of teaching and the commitment of our faculty to our students are unrivaled," said Dean Lawrence B. Pulley. “I am also pleased to see that more recruiters are learning what we already know about the exceptional preparation and talent of our students."
Bloomberg BusinessWeek used nine measures to rank these programs, including surveys of senior business majors and corporate recruiters, median starting salaries for graduates, and the number of alumni each program sends to top MBA programs.
"We are gratified by the rankings which acknowledge the extraordinary learning community that our students, faculty, and staff have created. Miller Hall is a wonderful new facility and we celebrate the fact that our Undergraduate Business Program is no longer one of the country’s best kept secrets,” said Assistant Dean Bill Geary.
