Mason School Welcomes New Executive Director of Development

Phillipe HorneThe Mason School of Business at The College of William and Mary welcomes Phillip Horne as its new Executive Director of Development.  In this new role he will lead efforts in executing the $15 million From Groundbreaking to Grand Opening (G2G) fundraising initiative.  Partnering closely with Dean Larry Pulley ’74, Phillip will help build and nurture partnerships with key friends and supporters of the School and College, develop and carry out detailed strategies for major gift proposals, as well as plan communications, travel and other activities related to engaging friends and donors.

With more than 25 years experience in marketing, higher education administration, advancement, and entrepreneurship, Phillip is a nice addition to our leadership team for the From Groundbreaking to Grand Opening initiative. He has held senior leadership and faculty appointments at the Kenan Institute of Private Enterprise at the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill, East Carolina University, and North Carolina State University, among others.
