Mason Career Circles

These virtual and in-person information sessions—typically one hour and offered throughout the fall and spring semesters—provide alumni and recruiters an opportunity to discuss their career journeys with graduate students, imparting career interviewing advice, sharing their organization's hiring plan, and job opportunities. The sessions are hosted by our career team and vary in format, from panel discussions to one-on-one conversations.

Spring Career & Internship Fair

Connect with the best in the business and learn about upcoming internships, externships, leadership programs, and full-time positions. This event is an opportunity to meet employers of all industries face-to-face and forge new connections.

Meet the Firms Friday

A symposium centered on the career fields of consulting and accounting for 400+ undergraduate and graduate students. This event includes an industry-specific career fair and panels for consulting and accounting, but is not limited by major or class year—all interested students are welcome to attend.

Fall Career & Internship Fair

Over 400+ Undergraduate and Graduate students across all departments at William & Mary attend this highly anticipated event in order to connect with employers, learn about open positions and internships across all fields of study.

Tech Day

Tech Day attracts 250+ students from across William & Mary, including our graduate and undergraduate students focused on tech careers and STEM degrees. It's an opportunity to discuss today's relevant issues in tech through thought-leadership panels and speakers. The Employer Showcase connects undergraduates and graduates with company representatives later in the day.

Graduate Career Symposium

There's nothing more impactful than alumni engaging with students, which makes the William & Mary learning experience even more robust and meaningful. This event brings together 150+ students, companies, industry leaders, faculty, and program teams to create transformational experiences—preparing our students to be uniquely career-ready to connect with world-class opportunities. Designed for the graduate business students in the MBA, Master of Accounting, and MS in Business Analytics programs.

"Just In Time" Career Networking

This career fair and speed networking event brings together prospective employers and 100+ graduate students from our MSBA, MBA, and MAcc programs. The event includes thought leadership, a career fair, and networking.

Raymond A. Mason School of Business Career Trek Program

The Mason School organizes career treks on various topics to key regions and tech hubs. A sample list of the trek locations and the cohorts that embark on them:

Richmond - Accounting (summer)
Norfolk - Accounting (summer)
D.C. - Accounting (fall)
D.C. - MS in Business Analytics and MBAs (fall and spring breaks)
Career Acceleration Modules (CAM) Treks - MBAs
D.C. - MBA, International exchange students (summer)

On-Campus Information Sessions & Interviews

Held on-campus year-round, prospective employers meet with students for a presentation and Q&A session on their company, including client work, benefits, and culture. These sessions can also be combined with on-campus job interviews for current open positions.
