After completing her undergraduate degree, Rosalyn worked for Apex Systems, Inc. as a Contractor Care Specialist, and in addition, had the unique opportunity to assist contractors in translating their contracting experiences onto their resumes. Although this experience was very fulfilling for Rosalyn, her ultimate desire was to work with college students and assist them in their professional development. Her work in higher education career services began with the start of her master's program where she immediately began serving as a graduate assistant for ODU's Career Development Services. Rosalyn is a native of Williamsburg, VA, and grew up in close proximity to William & Mary. Although she did not attend herself, she has spent much time at the university due to her mother being an alumna (M.Ed '87), and her church having partnered with the institution for various community initiatives. In Rosalyn’s spare time, she enjoys spending time with her family, visiting Yorktown Beach, playing the piano, crafting, and spoiling the family dog – Rusty.
