The Charlotte Trek gives students an inside look at the city's dynamic finance industry through employer visits, alumni connections, and hands-on experiences that bring finance careers to life. 

On May 17th, the Boehly Center team took 20 W&M students to Charlotte on a career exploration trek. Upon their arrival in Charlotte alumna Meghan Oldis '01 hosted students at Bragg Financial for an alumni meet-and-greet before they spent the next three days visiting financial firms around the city. Students took advantage of visits set up by W&M alumni at EY, Bank of America, Wells Fargo, Truist, GEM Investments, RAM Realty, Piper Sandler, TIAA, and Ally to ask thoughtful questions and gain insight into internship and career opportunities in finance.
