Form Your Team

• Assemble a team of 3-4 members from the same university.
• Designate a team captain who will:
  • Receive updates from William & Mary
  • Communicate all updates to the rest of the team
  • Handle team reimbursement information
  • Should be the most responsive member

Team Member Requirements

• Each team member must provide:
  • Resume
  • Email address
  • Other required personal information
• Eligibility Note: If your team competed in a previous stock pitch competition at W&M, only one member from that team may participate again.

Choose a Team Advisor

• Identify a staff or faculty advisor at your university.
• Advisor must consent to serve as the university contact to W&M.
• Provide the advisor's:
  • Email address
  • Phone number
• W&M may contact this person in case of emergencies or for key updates.

Prepare the Following for Submission

• Team Details:
  • First name, last name, and email address for each team member.
• Executive Summary of your Stock Buy
  • Choose a stock that you expect to outperform the market in the next year and write a one-page executive summary explaining why your team chose this stock.

Submit the Application

• Complete and submit the official team application form.
• Submission window: October 17-November 17, 2025.
• Applications are reviewed on a rolling basis.
• Only one application per team is required.

Look for Your Invitation to Compete Email

• Teams will be notified by December 20th.
• Respond with your acceptance of the invitation by January 15th.

1. Form a Team
   • 3-4 undergrads from the same university
   • Max 1 returning member from past participating W&M stock pitch teams
   • Submit resumes, emails, and name a team captain, team captain will serve as the primary point of contact for all BCSP correspondence and will be responsible for communicating this information to their team.
   • Choose the stock you want to pitch
2. Secure a Faculty/Staff Advisor
   • Advisor must agree to be your university contact
   • Provide their name, title, email, and phone
3. Submit Application by November 10
   • Fill out the 2026 BCSP Application
   • Include team member details, advisor info, and a one-page executive summary (PDF) with details on why your team's proposed stock was chosen.
4. Watch for Acceptance Email
   • Decisions sent by December 20
   • Team confirmation of participation due by January 15
