Biography

Osman Nal is a Clinical Assistant Professor of Economics and Finance at William & Mary's Raymond A. Mason School of Business.  He earned a Ph.D. in economics from Rice University in 2008 specializing in financial economics, and decision making under uncertainty.  Dr. Nal has ample experience in teaching economics and finance courses at the undergraduate and graduate levels. 

Prior to accepting his current position, Dr. Nal was an assistant professor of finance at Our Lady of the Lake University in San Antonio, TX, heading their Master’s in Financial Analysis program.  Dr. Nal enjoys utilizing and developing innovative instructional techniques such as classroom experiments, case studies, and spreadsheet applications and modeling.  He likes engaging in classroom discussions on economic and financial topics, both abstract and real-world events.
