Biography
Siyuan (Seth) Li is the Dorman Family Term Distinguished Associate Professor in the Operations & Technology Group. He earned his Ph.D. in Management Information Systems from the University of Georgia. His research primarily focuses on three key areas: online consumer behaviors, information diffusion on online social networks, and human interactions within organizational social networks. Dr. Li has published extensively in top-tier journals such as MIS Quarterly, Information Systems Research, and the Journal of the Association for Information Systems. His work leverages diverse quantitative methods, including big data analysis, social network analysis, surveys, and experiments.
Dr. Li has taught a wide range of courses covering both managerial and technical aspects of information systems, including Data Visualization, Database Management, Business Analytics Capstone, and System Analysis & Design, among others. He has also actively contributed to the academic community through his extensive editorial and reviewing roles.
