Biography

Phillip Wagner is a Clinical Assistant Professor in the area of Communications at the Raymond A. Mason School of Business.  Phil received his PhD at the University of Kansas and joins us from University of South Florida where he was a faculty member and the Regional Assistant Vice Chancellor of Academic Affairs at USF’s Sarasota-Manatee campus (USFSM). Phil’s teaching at USF focused on professional, interpersonal, and intercultural communication. He served as the Chair of the USFSM Diversity and Inclusion Council from 2016-2019 and was appointed by the USF President in 2018 to serve on a consolidation implementation committee, where he worked with a team of faculty to align USF’s academic programs across all three regional campuses.
