He also is developing two additional articles with colleagues at William & Mary.

Dr. Stowers is writing Leading By Communicating with Dr. Randy Barker of Virginia Commonwealth University's School of Business. Dr. Stowers and Dr. Barker have collaborated on many projects in the past and expect that their textbook will combine their respective expertise areas. With both college and trade market potential, Leading By Communicating connects leadership directly with communication and shows through examples and personality profiles that successful leaders need to be effective communicators in order to meet the challenges of the business world today as well as to prepare for what lies ahead in the future. The text will include pre and post leadership communication assessments so readers can judge how their attitudes and knowledge of leadership communication have changed after they have completed reading the book. Leading By Communicating will be published by South-Western College Publishing.
