Biography

Professor Richard Flood teaches statistics and modeling at the School of Business of William & Mary. He received his undergraduate degree from Indiana University and his PhD from the University of Florida. He has won numerous awards for teaching excellence. He has significant international experience. He teaches the course "Business in Europe" and often accompanies students to Europe to increase their international business exposure. He has consulted for AT&T, Colonial Williamsburg, and the Dept. of Justice, among others. His research interests include the application of quantitative techniques to solve business problems. He is currently investigating new risk measures for investment alternatives.
