Biography
Karen Locke is the Pat and Margaret Walsh Professor in Leadership and Ethics in the Raymond A. Mason School of Business at William & Mary. She has a B. Sc. (Honors) in Psychology from University College, London University and a Ph.D. in Organizational Behavior from the Weatherhead School of Management at Case Western Reserve University.
Karen has published two books and numerous academic articles in organizational theory. Her teaching and research interests include Organizational Behavior and Management, Leadership, Organization Development and Planned Change, Leading and Managing Teams, and Qualitative Research Methodologies.
She is currently Associate Editor of Organizational Research Methods and a member of the editorial board of Journal of Management Inquiry. She is also the winner of the College's Thomas Jefferson Teaching Award for 1999 and a Fellow for the Center For The Advancement of Research Methods.
