Biography
Alex Woods joined the Raymond A. Mason School of Business in 2008. He earned his Ph.D. in Business Administration from the Eli Broad College of Business at Michigan State University.
Alex's research interests are managerial accounting and control, performance measurement and evaluation, incentives, and resource allocation. He has published in leading, pedagogical, and practice journals. He currently serves on the editorial board of the Journal of Management Accounting Research.
Prior to earning his Ph.D., Alex had extensive work experience assessing the effectiveness and efficiency of key managerial accounting decisions and issues for the United States Air Force.
