John Muir Health, Chief Health and Medical Information Officer
Expanded role to lead analytics, population health and informatics impacting transformation of care for a regional health system. Primary activities were to function as a bridge between clinicians and operations to leverage technology in an efficient way through management of the informatics and education team, EHR software upgrades, and clinical operational analytics.

Recruited as the first CMO for a consulting firm specializing in healthcare information technology with a focus on strategic advisory and implementation services. Participated in the entire vertical of consulting from the sales process to partnering for implementation.
Sentara Healthcare, VP Medical Informatics
Multiple roles during the initial selection, purchase and implementation of a systemwide EHR. the roles included implementing a physician governance model for the project to include ambulatory and hospital-based physicians which was integrated with a medical staff of seven hospitals, managing a group of more than 50 physicians under contract to help with initial design, build and implementation for the project and accountability for physician adoption of system. Vice President of Clinical Operations. Collaborated with more than 200 hospital-based physicians to improve internal operations and system relationships. Oversaw budgeting and financial management for divisions representing half of the revenue and expense of the annual budget.
American Urological Association, Treasurer and Board Member
AUA is the premier urology organization for United States urologists and with leadership internationally. I spent 20 years in leadership as chair of multiple committees including practice management, health policy, data committee and ending as Treasurer. During this tenure, I was actively involved in national discussions about the Accountable Care Act and testified at the Senate HELP committee.
