Biography

Licensed as a CPA in Connecticut, New York, Pennsylvania, and California

Robert F. Schapperle, CPA, MBA, is currently the Managing Director of RFS Consulting LLC and has been a discussion leader for Loscalzo Associates LTD. Bob is a recently retired Deloitte & Touche partner, with over 30 years experience as a partner, having served as an advisory partner in Deloitte’s Office of General Counsel, a mergers & acquisitions partner in Northern California and Hawaii, and a lead client services partner in the Philadelphia practice office, with a broad range of public and non-publicly held clients in manufacturing and distribution, health care, higher education, and technology.

Bob has held a variety of leadership positions at Deloitte, including leadership of Deloitte’s Enterprise Risk practice in Northern California, the Higher Education practice nationally, and the Philadelphia Audit practice, among others.

He has been an Adjunct Instructor at LaSalle University and at the Wharton Graduate School, as well as a discussion leader and instructor at various Deloitte & Touche sponsored training programs. He is a member of the American Institute of CPAs (AICPA) and received the Alexander E. Loab Gold Medal Award for the highest grades in Pennsylvania in the November 1970 CPA Examination and the AICPA Elijah Watt Sells Award.
