Biography
Michael retired following a 40+ year career as an entrepreneur, innovator, and leader. Most recently he worked for KPMG in NY City where he served as the National Sales Leader for Financial Services. This required a deep knowledge of our global client's business. Prior to the FS role, Michael led a national team of Risk Consulting professionals focused on cybersecurity, model risk management, and regulatory compliance. In both roles, he was on the cutting edge of introducing digital transformation solutions to KPMG clients including RPA (robotics process automation), machine learning, and artificial intelligence. Team revenue goals exceeded $1.5B.
Prior to KPMG Michael spent a number of years working for Silicon Valley start-ups. Where he opened the East Coast office to develop strategy, product direction, and build sales and delivery teams.
Michael earned a full Naval scholarship to college and afterward served 5 years traveling the world and using the most advanced technologies of the time. He then spent 7 years with a subsidiary of IBM where he continued to learn about technology and was introduced to the world of business.
