The Raymond A. Mason School of Business is seeking applicants for an Associate Director of Admission & Recruitment for Specialty Master's programs. Reporting directly to the Director, Admissions & Recruitment for Specialty Master's Programs, the Associate Director is part of a high-performing admissions and enrollment team responsible for identifying and engaging prospective students for the Specialty Master's programs and leading them through to enrollment at W&M. Specifically, the Associate Director is responsible for ensuring the successful attraction, recruitment, matriculation, and retention of high-caliber domestic and international students for the Master of Science in Business Analytics.
Duties will include but are not limited to:
- Through innovative and proactive efforts, ensure the annual objectives and enrollment goals of the program are met in collaboration with the Director and team.
- Execute planned initiatives to identify and recruit an excellent and diverse student body.
- Travel both internationally and domestically to recruit student prospects, using data to identify market and potential areas of growth.
- Interview and evaluate applicants for admission.
- Ensure that all admitted students successfully complete prerequisites and work collaboratively with the Student Services teams to provide top-level high-touch experience for all incoming students through matriculation.
Required Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree or an equivalent of education/experience.
- Experience working in one or more of the following: university graduate admissions, corporate recruiting, talent recruiting, strategic selling, higher education student services, or another relevant industry sector.
- Ability to develop and implement successful recruitment programs and design effective materials and outreach events to attract and enroll top candidates to the MSBA program.
- Strong sales/recruitment and customer service skills.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, with the ability to master prospect management system.
- Excellent interpersonal, presentation, written, and verbal communication skills, along with an ability to effectively promote the School and its programs.
- Demonstrated ability to evaluate quantitative and qualitative data.
Salary Range:
Up to $80,000 commensurate with experience and internal pay equity
