About Our Databases
McLeod Business Library proudly subscribes to a variety of databases that support the Mason School of Business's unique differentiators: Our distinct curriculum and highly-respected faculty research. Additionally, William & Mary students, faculty, and staff have access to the plethora of electronic resources offered through William & Mary Libraries. All subscriptions, unless otherwise noted, are available to current students, faculty, staff, and affiliates of William & Mary.

Business Databases with Restricted Access
Bloomberg
The McLeod Library has two Bloomberg terminals, and the trading room has additional terminals. Registration information to create an account is available at the terminal.

- Learn how to become Bloomberg Market Concepts (BMC) certified (for on campus users)
Economist/New York Times/Wall Street Journal/Washington Post Accounts
W&M students, faculty and staff have the ability to register for accounts to these publications. This can be done by going to the A-Z Databases page and clicking on the link for each publication. You will be walked through the account creation process and will then have access to articles.
Morningstar Direct
To use Morningstar Direct, follow the login info on McLeod Library computers. The database is accessible on several computers.
Refinitiv Eikon
Access an incredible depth and breadth of financial analysis data to make smarter decisions. Refinitiv Eikon is a flexible, open platform that’s purpose-built for trade innovation and lets you connect with the world’s largest directory of verified financial professionals. A Refinitiv account is needed to access the database. Students should request accounts for Workspace for Students and AMR for Students-User Level. Faculty should request accounts for Eikon for Students and After Market Research Add on Academics. A librarian will approve account requests by the next business day.
WRDS (Wharton Research Data Services)
Wharton Research Data Services - WRDS is a comprehensive source of financial, accounting, economic, management, marketing, banking, and insurance data. WRDS offers access to Audit Analytics, CompuStat, CRSP. Graduate students and faculty can get a WRDS login/password by visiting the WRDS website and registering using your W&M username and ID. A McLeod staff member will confirm your account within one business day.
