Employment @ the Mason School

Thank you for your interest in the Raymond A. Mason School of Business!

The mission of the Raymond A. Mason School of Business at William & Mary is to serve the Commonwealth, the nation, and the global community both by offering high-quality educational programs at the undergraduate, graduate, and professional levels and by creating and communicating new knowledge. Our departments comprise more than 160 professional staff and faculty members who work together to support our mission and build a culture of engagement in support of our students and missions across the William & Mary community and beyond.

The Raymond A. Mason School of Business values and actively nurtures an environment of diversity and inclusiveness where every individual, regardless of how we may differ – for example, but not limited to, with regard to race, religion, gender, ethnic origin, age, socioeconomic status, political preferences, physical abilities, sexual identity, or sexual orientation – is embraced, respected, and afforded the same opportunity to grow, to succeed, and to contribute to the Mason School’s success.

W&M & Our Military Community

Williamsburg, Virginia is located in one of the most military-rich regions in the United States, and we understand the invaluable contribution of active-duty, reserve, guard, military veterans, and spouses in our community. We also recognize the broad benefits of incorporating the knowledge and skills of this established population into our administration and leadership at the School of Business. William & Mary is deemed a Military-Friendly school and proudly participates in the Yellow Ribbon program, attracting our nation's active-duty military, reserve, guard, veterans, and spouses to our graduate and undergraduate programs. A V-3 Certified (Virginia Values Veterans) institution, William & Mary recognizes that the experiences of our military employees enrich our programs and provide a unique perspective that connects with our staff and students, especially those with a military background. In collaboration with our Center for Military Transition, we provide resources and training to build upon transferable skills to help these employees be successful in higher education or their future career.

W&M COVID-19 Response & Employee Safety

The Raymond A. Mason School of Business and William & Mary are committed to convening to provide in-person instruction and pursue our mission. As part of our commitment to the mission and our students, employees and W&M community, we are constantly reviewing the public health data and guidelines available to be sure that measures are taken that will keep us all safe and healthy. The COVID-19 Response Team is an integral part of this effort and we encourage you to read more about the communication and many safety measures implemented across campus.
