The Raymond A. Mason School of Business will open the doors of Miller Hall to welcome the public in for a conversation on the issues facing the U.S. economy and what happens next on the evening of Monday, Oct. 22 starting at 7 p.m.

The CEO of General Motors, Dan Akerson, stopped by Miller Hall and visited with members of the Raymond A. Mason School of Business family — notably with the students. He spoke on the importance of leadership and brand, and how GM has turned things from bankruptcy to their most profitable year in company history in such a short period.

After four years as an undergrad, he thought he knew the Williamsburg area, at least the hot spots for students and the restaurants. But he had never been in an environment like this before.
