The Accounting Edge

The Accounting Edge is an interactive program focusing on topics like on-campus recruiting, networking, professional etiquette, and personal branding. Professionals and alumni from top firms such as EY, PwC, KPMG, Veris Consulting, and Dixon Hughes Goodman will share their expertise and practice professional communication skills with students in a relaxed environment.

EP Networking & Interviewing Events

In preparation for fall and spring recruiting events, the Undergraduate Business Program in conjunction with the Executive Partners created two professional development sessions to assist new majors and minors with their networking and interviewing skills.

Diversity Networking Brunch

Open to all students who self-identify as diverse, this brunch and mini-career fair provides an opportunity for employers to interact with students of diverse backgrounds and provide a more intimate setting for networking.

Fall Career & Internship Fair

The Cohen Career Center sponsors the annual career fair every fall to give students a chance to connect and network with employers across a variety of fields. This is a great time to investigate internship and job opportunities from different career paths.

Meet the Firms

This event provides an opportunity for students to connect with employers in the industries of accounting and consulting through a variety of industry panels presented by alumni in the morning and an employer showcase with alumni and recruiters from over 35 organizations in the afternoon.

From DoG Street to Wall Street & Keynote Address

This annual event, co-sponsored by the Boehly Center for Excellence in Finance and the Cohen Career Center, provides students with an opportunity to learn about careers in Finance and network with potential employers and contacts. Panelists cover topics including Finance 101, Interviewing, International Finance, Sales and Trading, Investment Banking, and Private Banking.

Wall Street Program

The Cohen Career Center sponsors this annual opportunity for students interested in Finance to visit financial institutions in New York City and network with alumni on Wall Street. Past trips included visits to Bank of New York Mellon, Deutsche Bank, Freeman & Co., Goldman Sachs, JPMorgan Chase, Morgan Stanley, Wells Fargo Securities, LiquidNet and the New York Stock Exchange.

NYC Marketing Trip

This trip gives students the opportunity to explore careers in marketing while networking with alumni. Past trips included visits to Saatchi & Saatchi Edelan, Colgate-Palmolive, Kraft and MediaVest. Watch for an information session in the Fall.

Employer Information Sessions and Other Opportunities

Throughout the semester, the Cohen Career Center will host various workshops and employers to give students the opportunity to learn about different fields, companies, and opportunities.
