Professor McCoy offered two courses in Social Entrepreneurship in 2015. The first was held on campus during the Spring semester, while the second was a field work course in the Dominican Republic in May and June. These courses were ideal for students interested in understanding and participating in international development projects to address social needs. Students with a desire to help others through building economic opportunities and strengthening communities would be served well by participating in these courses. Through the unique interactions with business, political, social, and educational leaders, students explored issues related to the Dominican Republic's changing business and social landscape.
