Undergraduate Program in Vienna

The William & Mary Exchange program has a partnership with WU-Wien, also known as the Vienna University of Economics and Business, which allows undergraduate students to study in Vienna for a semester or a full year. It is the largest business university in all of Europe and will soon be located on a new campus. It has many distinguished alumni, including a former Austrian President and two former Austrian Finance Ministers. Before beginning their studies, students are encouraged to participate in a two week language and culture class. Additionally, classes are offered in both English and German.

Currently the capital of Austria, Vienna was also the center of the Hapsburg Empire. Students studying here will get to experience city life in close proximity to many historical landmarks, including St. Stephen's Cathedral, the Schönbrunn Zoo and the Vienna Opera House. The European Rail Network (EuroRail) also provides students with the ability to visit other parts of Europe.
