Students with busy home and work lives can schedule classes at their convenience with professors who understand that students might occasionally need to miss class because of long workdays or business travel.
Flex MBA classes are held Monday through Thursday evenings, leaving weekends available for the other important things in life. Flex MBA students attend classes at the William & Mary Peninsula Center, conveniently located in the Oyster Point area of Newport News. This recently updated learning environment provides state-of-the art classrooms, a computer lab, plenty of seating areas for team meetings or study sessions, a kitchen area, and two board-room style conference rooms.
On a typical class night, students begin arriving at the Peninsula Center in the late afternoon, some to meet with their teams, others to study before classes begin. There is a lot of activity and excitement as students visit with each other and faculty or talk with program staff who are on hand to help. On any given night, relationships are being formed, professional networks are being built, and knowledge is passing between faculty and students. It is quite an extraordinary environment, and one in which our Flex students thrive.
