Biography

Margot Howard joined the Raymond A. Mason School of Business as an Assistant Professor of Accounting in 2015. She earned her B.B.A. from the University of Notre Dame, her MAcc from the University of Michigan at Ann Arbor, and her Ph.D. from the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill. 

Her research focuses on taxation, specifically the intersection of financial reporting and tax, the relation between tax and investment, and tax enforcement.

Before pursuing her Ph.D. Margot worked in tax consulting at Deloitte Tax LLP.
