Biography

Jason is a Leader, Educator, Strategist, and a Team Builder.  Following more than 20 years of service to the Nation through the U.S. Army, Jason launched 4 Liberty Consulting LLC to catalyze collaboration at the nexus of business, government, and academia.  Jason’s military career was quite unique as he not only led soldiers in combat and twice taught economics to West Point cadets, he also directly advised the President and senior U.S. leaders in two very different White Houses and in the Pentagon. 

Jason is a full-time Professor of Practice in Executive Education at the Edwin L. Cox School of Business at Southern Methodist University; an Adjunct Professor at the Raymond A. Mason School of Business at William & Mary; a Visiting Scholar and Director of the Eisenhower Working Group on Economic Statecraft at Texas A&M University’s Bush School of Government and Public Service; and a Visiting Professor of Practice in Economic Statecraft at Joint Special Operations University, Headquarters United States Special Operations Command, MacDill Air Force Base, Florida. 

Jason serves on the boards of the Pingree School in South Hamilton, Massachusetts; The Medic Now Foundation; Deep Knowledge Investing; and leads the Prosper (Texas) High School PTO Committee on Grants & Scholarships. 

Jason earned an M.S. in Economics from The University of Texas at Austin and a B.S. in Economics from the United States Military Academy at West Point.
