Biography

Taj Bindra is an Adjunct Professor at William & Mary’s Raymond A. Mason School of Business.  Previously, he served as the Chief Financial Officer and Executive Vice President of the JP Morgan Chase (JPM) Home Finance Division where he was responsible for finance, strategy and risk. He served on the Board of Directors of the Chase Mortgage Corporation, Management Committee of JPM's Retail Banking Division and chaired the Risk Committee.

Taj was the President of Washington Mutual's mortgage business with 7,000 employees across the United States and had direct responsibility for capital markets, finance and servicing line of business, and served on the operating, management and ALCO committees. Taj has also served in leadership positions at Price Waterhouse Coopers and Bank of America.

Taj has served on the Executive Committee and was a John M. Olin Fellow at the University of Rochester Simon Business School. He has taught courses in home mortgage and finance, appeared as a TV commentator and has been interviewed by major newspapers.
