Darrin is a Colonel in the United States Marine Corps with over 30 years of leadership experience. He currently directs a diverse global consulting organization designed to improve the effectiveness of military organizations. He will retire in fall 2018 and is excited about seeking new opportunities.
In 30 years of military service Darrin supported military operations around the globe in various organizations. His leadership versatility is particularly demonstrated by his success the past nine years:
• Leading strategic planning efforts in the Pacific (2009-11)
• Directing nuclear weapons security and global anti-terrorism support for the US Navy (2011-13)
• Directing the NATO’s training and exercise program (2013-16)
• Managing a global consulting organization (2016-present)
He is proficient in several key areas to include crisis management, strategic planning, consulting, leader development, and senior level education. Darrin has consistently demonstrated the ability to effectively lead and manage globally dispersed organizations. He is well known in the military community as a positive leader and a developer of effective cohesive teams.
Throughout his career, Darrin has been consistently recognized for his leadership and professionalism. He is a graduate of Washington and Lee University where he majored in Economics and History. He is a former United States Marine Corps Instructor of the Year and the Honor Graduate of the Marine Corps War College.
In addition to military service, Darrin also works closely with leaders in his community. This is highlighted by service on the LEAD Greater Williamsburg Board of Directors.
