Jones is a retired Vice President of Electronic Data Systems. He has extensive experience managing large complex organizations in the U.S., Europe, Mexico, and the Middle East. His international experience has been particularly focused on startup operations, including joint venture companies as well as new business development in a broad range of functional areas. Jones also has experience in the U.S. Federal Government and State and Local Governments.
Since retiring in 2006, he has had several consulting engagements supporting mergers and acquisitions, business process outsourcing, and general management support.
Jones has a bachelor's degree in electrical engineering and a master's degree in engineering administration. He has been a guest lecturer at the Oxford University School of Business. He has also served on committees and boards of various organizations including AFCEA, NATO, Software Engineering Institute, and the Virginia Center of Innovative Technology (former Chairman of the Board, currently Vice Chairman).
