Born and raised in Montoursville, Pennsylvania, Harry graduated from the United States Military Academy in 1968. He went on to serve 5 years in the Corps of Engineers to include an assignment in Viet Nam from 1970 to 1971. After leaving the service in 1973, he went to work for AT&T where he spent 25 years, rising to the position of Executive VP for Local Services. During his time at AT&T, the company sent Harry to the Sloan School of Management at MIT. He graduated from that program in 1984 with an MS in Advanced Management. Harry retired from AT&T in 1998 when he founded, funded, and managed Country Road Communications that consolidated several rural telephone companies in Maine, Massachusetts, West Virginia, and California. He successfully sold that company in 2008. Since that time Harry founded Wiswall Partners, a small consulting company geared to helping small business CEO’s. He moved to Williamsburg, Virginia in September of 2013 with Mary Anne, his wife of 30 years. Harry has four children and five grandchildren.
