Husband is President and CEO of RailSolutions Inc., a transportation consulting firm headquartered in Alexandria, Va., that provides investment advisory and asset valuation services to financial institutions and transportation services firms. Husband began his career in the railroad industry with positions at the United States Railway Association, Consolidated Rail Corporation and National Railway Utilization Corporation. His focus subsequently turned to the banking industry in which he served as Vice President at Wachovia Bank in Atlanta and Perpetual Bank in Washington, D.C. with responsibilities in the areas of credit, commercial lending and corporate finance.
Husband earned a bachelor's degree from The College of William and Mary and an MBA from the University of South Carolina. He became an instructor of finance at the University of Maryland while attending as a Ph.D. candidate. He also completed the executive development program sponsored by the Graduate School of Credit and Financial Management at Dartmouth College.
