Charles (Chuck) Owlett is a technology executive with extensive experience designing, implementing, and supporting enterprise wide systems. He has a proven ability to build successful teams, lead small and large organizations, plan, manage, and problem solve. He has fifteen years as a successful P&L lead and seven years as a C-Level executive. He started his career at Computer Sciences Corporation working his way up to becoming a technical advisor to the Systems Division president. He left to join a start up, Performance Engineering Corporation. He helped the company grow from providing IT consulting services and acquisition support to designing, developing, implementing and maintaining nationwide applications and networks. He was part of the executive team that took PEC Solutions public in 2000. His divisions achieved CMM and CMMI certifications. As the CTO, he was responsible for IT, facilities, and real estate. He instituted the IT policies and practices required to achieve Sarbanes-Oxley compliance. After PEC Solutions merged with Nortel, he was named CIO of Nortel Government with continued responsibility for real estate and facilities. He led the team that transformed the company’s IT infrastructure and led the development of a new operations centered financial reporting system. After NortelGov merged with Avaya Federal, he was named AvayaGov’s EVP for Information Technology. He left AvayaGov and started consulting in 2012.
Mr. Owlett graduated with honors from Florida Institute of Technology with a Bachelors of Science in Electrical Engineering. He was inducted into FIT’s chapter of Eta Kappa Nu, the electrical engineering honor society.
