Rork is founder and former President of the former Clusae Incorporated, a firm that advised private equity investors on investments in insurance businesses. He acted as intermediary and principal on mergers and acquisitions, capital raising, and investment transactions. He partnered in a startup of a private equity fund and managed other established funds. Also, he formerly was director of insurance, insurance services, and franchise companies and served as Vice President of General Re Group with responsibilities for corporate strategy and development, investor relations, capital planning, and strategic venture capital investing.
He was Senior Vice President, Specialty Operations, of The Hartford with assignments in corporate development as well as in the marketing of large-risk and specialty insurance products. He also served as Corporate Treasurer and member of the Investment Department of The Hartford.
Rork received a bachelor's degree, cum laude and Phi Beta Kappa from Williams College and an MBA from Harvard Business School.
