The Washington Area Alumni Business Alliance exists to build a better business community for William & Mary alumni and students in the Washington, DC metro area.

To build a better business community for the University, Alumni and Students in the Washington, DC Metro area.

WAABA Vision

To position WAABA as an agile and innovative organization that will be a driving force in alumni engagement with the William & Mary Raymond A. Mason School of Business with the specific goal of establishing and nurturing a lifelong partnership with Alumni in the business community through the development of robust and meaningful experiences and engagement opportunities that will result in increased support for the University and its students.

In support of our mission and vision, WAABA is guided by five-pillar goals:

  1. Connect alumni to one another
  2. Create lifelong learning opportunities
  3. Develop career opportunities for students and alumni
  4. Foster alumni participation in the classroom and on campus
  5. Utilize our communication infrastructure to support the W&M network

WAABA Annual Reception

Join us each spring for our annual cocktail reception in McLean, Virginia, as we gather W&M alumni from throughout the DC Metro region to connect, network, and enjoy as a community.

WAABA Quarterly Thought Leadership

Each quarter WAABA hosts a thought leadership panel, discussion, or presentation on a business topic, featuring a faculty member or fellow alumni. Each is followed by a cocktail reception and networking opportunities.
