Young Mentor Board

The Howard J. Busbee Finance Academy Young Alumni Mentoring Board is designed to help students better define their career goals and assist them as they prepare for interviews. The mentor relationship can be extremely important to students preparing for interviews or simply trying to determine what career they should pursue. Your involvement with an undergraduate will have a significant and positive influence on their lives. As a result, we want to help as many students as possible. Therefore, we are making this opportunity available to all of our undergraduates regardless of their major or year. This means you will interact with a variety of young people at very different stages of their personal development. Students may seek a phone mentor for help with a resume, a mock interview or just general information about a field.

Dean Liappas ‘05, our first Director of the program, will handle the mentor matching, as well as serve as a contact person for questions. If you are interested in becoming an official member of the board, please fill out the mentor survey. In the survey, we ask for more details regarding your interests, background and contact preferences. It should take one minute to complete.
